Full membership of the British Electric Flight Association is open to all current members of the BMFA (British Model Flying Association) or your equivalent controlling body if overseas. Full membership entitles you to vote at meetings and to participate in flying events. The main benefits of joining are listed on the membership form (see the link below).

If you are not a member of your National body for model flying, then you may still join as a subscriber to the magazine.
UK Juniors, under the age of 18, may join the BEFA free of charge. Overseas Juniors may also join at a significantly reduced rate, which is to cover the additional postage.

Magazine subscription only costs the same as membership. Overseas rates include airmail postage.

We are
currently running a membership recruiting incentive scheme
Existing members can get a £5 membership voucher, for every new senior
member they get to join, which can be used for the following years membership.
Ensure that your details are on the new members application form to get your
voucher. This scheme excludes new free junior memberships.
‡Student membership is available to full time students at a reduced price. To qualify you need to submit a paper application (available for download below) including the fee and proof of full time student status to the Membership Secretary.
*PLEASE NOTE. The membership/subscription year normally runs from April 1st to March 31st in the following year. Those joining or subscribing between 1st November and 31st March automatically receive membership until 31st March in the FOLLOWING membership year. (i.e. up to 17 months membership).
