An eSoaring CLINIC plus FUN FLY plus 200 W/kg COMPLIANCE TESTING DAY in a large field at Tywell (map).  Martin Bell hopes to attract ANYONE who flies any ELECTRIC POWERED glider - from complete beginners to experienced flyers converting from other disciplines. They will be running a short (2 or 3 rounds only) informal competition to 2008 rules as set out here.  The “competition” will more of a demonstration and familiarisation event for newcomers, rather than a serious competition; but it will give everyone the opportunity to try out their 2008 models prior to the start of the season proper, to compare notes and to check out organisation systems.  They will also be compliance testing of 200 W/kg models and compliance stickers will be issued on the day, which should help save some time during the first league competition on April 27th.  There will be a £5.00 fee for everyone flying and we will ask for proof of insurance on the day.  He plans to have a large tent on site for the day, so that we can still get some useful testing and talking done should the weather be inclement.  If you have any questions please ask Martin by email ! More information to come nearer the date.
